October Topic: Affiliate Marketing

Until very recently I must admit I had no idea what an affiliate link was and I certainly didn't know that it could be profitable to website owners and I am betting that many of you out there are just as confused as I was. Affiliate marketing is described by Wikipedia as the process of using one website to drive traffic to another", but it can be so much more than that.  With the onset of PPC or Pay-Per-Click marketing the opportunity is now there for profit through commissions. In the month of October I will be looking at some of the affiliate marketing methods out there and touching on some of the how-tos, as well as discussing the "ethics" behind these marketing techniques. I look forward to sharing with you what I know, and I hope to learn from you too!
