Well, the kids are back in school, the leaves are turning, the weather (for most of you), is cooling off... It can only mean one thing, Fall is upon us! It has been an incredibly busy summer for me as you know, and I kinda feel like I could use a vacation! Too late!
It is usually at this time of year that business really picks up for us VAs. Everyone is back to work, re-energized and with renewed focus, chomping at the bit to take another look at those projects that they had hoped to have accomplished this year but have been putting off since January. I have been incredibly busy setting up newsletters and reworking websites for my clients... I even found time to rework my own site as you can see here: www.the-edge-va.com. I really wanted to go into 2008 with a fresh new look and feel.
These last three weeks have been an absolute whirlwind of activity here at The Edge and I have welcomed some new clients as well as some new VA partners.
Deirdre Shockley of D-Virtual Office will be assisting me with administration and newsletters. Deidre has already proven herself to be an incredible resource and I am so glad I found her!
Candice Collins has signed up as our new in-house graphic designer. Candice is a trained and experienced graphic designer who has an amazing talent. Look out for some additions to our portfolio page on the website very soon!
I guess you could say I've taken my own advice and outsourced the things I don't do as well in order to spend more focused and effective time on the things I excel at!
Have a wonderful week!
